As a board-certified dentist anesthesiologist, I specialize in providing hospital-grade general anesthesia and IV sedation directly in the dental office setting. My goal is to make dental care accessible, comfortable, and safe—especially for patients with dental anxiety, special needs, or complex medical conditions.

I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. My postdoctoral training in anesthesiology included comprehensive programs at Riverside County Regional Medical Center (with a focus on Anesthesiology and Internal Medicine), Loma Linda University Medical Center, and the Surgery Center for Dentistry at Loma Linda University.

Over the course of my career, I’ve safely administered anesthesia to thousands of patients undergoing a wide range of dental procedures—including implants, extractions, root canals, and periodontal surgeries. While I care for patients of all ages, I have a special interest in pediatric dentistry. As a father of three, I understand the importance of creating a calm, reassuring experience for both children and their parents.

My mission is to provide compassionate, personalized anesthesia care that empowers patients to overcome fear and receive the dental treatment they need—with comfort, confidence, and peace of mind.

This technology allows us to complete comprehensive dental procedures more efficiently—often in fewer appointments.

For example, pediatric patients who need multiple treatments such as fillings, crowns, extractions, and space maintainers can often have all necessary work completed in a single visit under general anesthesia. All anesthesia is administered and monitored by trained professionals to ensure maximum safety and comfort.

After any procedure involving sedation, patients are closely monitored in our recovery room by our medical team. Discharge only occurs once patients have met all post-anesthesia recovery criteria, including stable vital signs and intact protective reflexes. For minors, discharge is only permitted when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian; adult patients must be released into the care of a responsible adult over the age of 18.
